He is an independent filmmaker and member of the Iranian Documentary Filmmakers Association and IDA. His films deal with historical-drama and social-environmental issues in Iran. Titles to his credit include Tabriz: Images from the Forgotten World (2007), Lady Urmia (2013), Bahmaee Tribe (2015), and Once Hamoun (2016).
