biography

Born on April 27th 1957, he graduated in Performing Arts from the University of Bologna. From 1980 to 1987 he worked as an assistant director for television and cinema. After that he entered Rai Channel 3 and contributed to programmes such as: Scenario by Andrea Barbato, and Duello and finally Michele Santoro's Samarcanda, Il Rosso e il Nero and Tempo Reale. In 1996 he follows Michele Santoro to the private network Italia Uno and is co-author of the programmes Moby Dick and Moby's with Ruotolo and Formigli. In 1999 he moves back to RAI, following Santoro again, and works on two programmes Circus and Sciuscià. In the year 2000-2001 he becomes co-author with Sandro Ruotolo of Sciuscià, broadcast on RAI Channel 2.
