Voci d’acqua

Directed by

From the confluence of the Taro and the Po downstream to the sea: a journey along the Big River, levees, riverside towns. The endlessly stretching landscape changes continuously. Evidence not of a lost Eden or a troubled but brave past but rather simply a slice of life, interwoven with life’s experiences, both near and far. The narration of the images follows the thoughts of the protagonists in voice over telling their stories and the need to live where there is still room for natural wilderness.

A portrait of the contradictory aspects of the present, the film was made possible through the support of WWF Rovigo and Legambiente Aironi del Po.
