biography
They have made numerous documentaries about the harsh conditions of the aboriginal tribal peoples of India who oppose the destruction brought on by development. Both are founding members of Akhra, a small cultural community in Ranchi which produces documentaries and organizes itinerant exhibitions in villages and coordinates a lending library. Their work has recently been awarded by the Zindabad Trust.
