biography
She earned a master’s in journalism from the Graduate School of Journalism, University of California, Berkeley, and a master’s in international relations from the University of Bristol. Her short 4.1 Miles (2016), nominated for an Oscar and an Emmy Award, was followed by the award-winning Container (2020) and Into the Sea (2020), which tells the story of refugees arriving in Greece.
