biography
He has worked as nature and anthropology features journalist and photographer since 1985 on assignment for various scientific journals and institutions such as the Fondo per l'Ambiente Italiano and the Canadian Tourist Ministry. His book titles include: "Click in, fotografiamo insieme", "Oltre il 2000: il problema energetico", "Il giornale del Birdwatcher", "Come fare la macrofotografia", "Il Po, cento sguardi dall'argine", "Orsi Polari", "Il mondo degli uccelli". Since 1997 he has directed numerous reportage and documentaries for TV and scientific journals that have earned him international acclaim. He currently teaches scientific photography and video filmmaking at the School of Zoology, University of Pavia.
