He is an author, director and presenter of television programs on the environment for the Canadian Broadcasting Association. As an independent director he has directed the likes of The Battle of the Bag (2008), winner of the Canadian Screen Award for best Science, Technology, Nature and Environment film, and The Great Food Revolution (2009).
