È autore, regista e conduttore di programmi televisivi di carattere ambientale presso la Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Come regista indipendente dirige, tra gli altri, The Battle of the Bag (2008), vincitore del Canadian Screen Award per il miglior film di Scienza, Tecnologia, Natura e Ambiente, e The Great Food Revolution (2009).
