Dirt! The Movie

Directed by

We walk over it; it ensures our survival ever since humans first appeared on the planet; today it is seriously threatened by intensive farming and increasing cementification. With the voice-over of Jamie Lee Curtis, the film guides us on an exploration of the ground under our feet. With accounts by experts and artists such as Salgado, we discover where dirt comes from, how important it is for us, why it is at risk, and what we can do to help it. An ironic tale about an organic material from which we come and to which we will ultimately return.
