Irish Folk Furniture

Directed by

In rural Ireland, old hand-made furniture reminds the local people of the past, it hardships and poverty, which they prefer to forget. Because of the bitter times they recall, valuable pieces of handcrafted furniture are stacked away in haylofts and outbuildings. Instead, they could be restored for good daily use and rekindle collective memory.
