In a world increasingly dependent on oil and characterized by unbridled consumerism, as energy reserves begin to run low, the international situation becomes increasingly tense. After all diplomatic attempts to resolve the grave crisis have failed, a war breaks out, with devastating consequences for the population, partly due to the technological development of new weapons. Only by reaching an agreement with the local mafias, to whom governments grant complete carte blanche, will the outbreak of total anarchy be averted. One man, Mr. Sneijder, may have information that can change everything. But they are already on his trail.
