Sarimihetsika

Directed by

The word “cinema” is translated in Malagasy as Sarimihetsika, which literally means moving image. The sequence of silent, discrete images reveals a placid, majestic nature that observes the passing of existence. An impassive spectator of difficult human lives in poverty and wealth, perhaps victims of their own making, in Madagascar, a place probably as wonderful as another other one on Earth.
