The Garden
Directed by
At six hectares, the community garden that extends south of Los Angeles is the largest in the United States. Born almost as a form of compensation after the riots that broke out in 1992, the land has become, thanks to the South Central Farmers, a true environmental miracle in one of the most degraded areas of the country. However, bulldozers now threaten this area, and many have decided to stand up in defense of this unique and extraordinary natural oasis (such as Daryl Hannah, Danny Glover, Joan Baez, and Zak de la Rocha, as well as Scott Hamilton Kennedy, who felt the need to shoulder his camera and tell this story).
