The Silver Mirror

By 2050, one and a half billion people will be elderly. This percentage is three times higher than today, when every day in the United States alone, ten thousand people turn sixty-five. It is therefore increasingly important to prepare for this new emergency, developing the most appropriate interventions to address a situation with philosophical, social, medical, and political implications. This is the approach taken by Ali Habashi, who, through three years of work, filming in twelve countries around the world, immersed himself in a wide range of cultural contexts to gather diverse testimonies relating to the dramatically timely issue of an increasingly aging global population.
