The Sunchaser

Directed by

Brandon «Blue» Monroe is a 16-year-old Navaho serving a prison sentence for homicide. When he discovers he has incurable cancer which will leave him only one month to live, he decides that his only hope is to reach a lake in the sacred mountains he learned about through an old shaman. Taking his treating physician, Dr. Michael Reynolds, as hostage with him, he sets off on a journey that will lead them through the deserts of Utah and Arizona to the Colorado Rockies: a rite of passage that will change the lives of both men.
