Ethologist and biologist, author of The Selfish Gene and The Blind Watchmaker, Richard Dawkins is one of today’s staunchest defenders and promulgators of Darwin’s theory of evolution. His firm atheism has at times raised the shackles of religious conservatives. Gus Holwerda accompanies us on a world tour of conferences and often sold-out public appearances (with other personalities including Woody Allen, Cameron Diaz, Stephen Hawking, Werner Herzog, Ian McEwan, and Cormac McCarthy) in which, Dawkins, together with theoretical physicist Lawrence Krauss, makes a strong case for a purely rational and scientific approach and against any other type of interference.
