In a small town in Ghana, on the edge of a large landfill spilling into the ocean, a fisherman’s children, Sowah and Okai, struggle to cope with the loss of their eldest brother, who disappeared during an offshore fishing expedition. In his sorrow, Okai finds himself struggling with an obsession: according to Ghanian culture, the spirit of those who drown at sea is destined to wander in search of their home.
