Ha studiato all’Academy for Visual Arts e alla Dutch Film and Television Academy di Amsterdam, lavorando come documentarista dal 1991: tra i suoi film Het Monument (1999) e A Daily Life (2000). Insieme a Eugenie Jansen ha realizzato: Scary Man (1996), The Comet (1998) e The Royal Wedding Tapes (2002).
