Si è laureata all’Università Arcada di Helsinki nel 2004, prima di collaborare con la televisione finlandese come giornalista, sceneggiatrice, regista e montatrice. Ha realizzato diversi documentari, tra cui Send Me a Letter (2006) e The First Year (2009).
