Nata nel 1975 a Schwedt/Oder, dopo aver studiato all'Università di Francoforte sul Meno, realizza nel 2003, in veste di autrice e regista con Torsten Hölzel, Tick, il suo primo cortometraggio animato. Successivamente dirigerà Sir Buttle (2004), Für'n Apple und'n Ei (2005), di cui è anche autrice e montatrice, come in Civil War Stories (2005) e One Kind of Officer (2005).
