Si diploma alla National Film School of Denmark ed esordisce alla regia nel 2001 con Family. Realizza una trilogia sul rapporto tra scienza ed esistenza umana: Mechanical Love (2007), Free the Mind (2012) e Ripples at the Shore (2014) - seguita da Good Things Await (2014), presentato al 18° CinemAmbiente. Tra i suoi film più recenti, Rediscovery (2019) e 70/30 (2021), entrambi dedicati alle istanze delle nuove generazioni sulla questione della sostenibilità ambientale.
