Ha realizzato nel 2005 il suo primo lungometraggio di finzione, Man Push Cart, presentato in anteprima a Venezia. Ha quindi diretto Chop Shop, che ha partecipato a festival come quelli di Cannes, Berlino e Toronto, e Goodbye Solo, premiato con il Fipresci a Venezia nel 2008.
