biography
Nasce in Lettonia nel 1950. Diplomato al Leningrad Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography, inizia a lavorare come regista al Latvian Puppet Theater. Dal 1993 fonda una società indipendente, la Animacijas Brigade, con la quale produce film di animazione, tra i quali: The Live Friend, The Way, Karu Tuleb, Three Musketeers.
