biography
He graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Theater, Music and Cinema before working as director at the Latvian Puppet Theater. In 1993 he founded Animacijas Brigade, an indie company through which he produces animated films. His film credits include The Live Friend, The Way, Karu Tuleb, Three Musketeers.
