Ambientalista, giornalista, fotografo e regista, è fondatore e presidente della Fondazione GoodPlanet. Nominato Goodwill Ambassador per il Programma dell’ONU sull’ambiente in occasione della Giornata della Terra, in oltre quarant’anni di carriera pubblica centinaia di libri fotografici, realizza numerosi documentari per la televisione e firma film come Home (2009), Human (2015), Woman (2019).
