La grippe du Laissez-Faire

Directed by

La Gloria, a small town in the state of Veracruz, Mexico, recently attracted media interest because one of its inhabitants was the first victim of swine flu. While politicians directed attention to the causes of a pandemic with unpredictable consequences, the local populace is battling against Granjas Carroll, a company owned by Smithfield Foods, accused of polluting the environment and harboring a worse virus for humanity owing to the serious injustice it perpetrates in the name of laissez-faire.
